Every person in my dream was a skin walker. My daughters, random people I met around, my ex. However in my dream scape I have learned the ability to fly so the skin walker was always planted so I moved away from them through flight. Having casual and oddly obscure intelligent conversation with the skin walker in the process. I would wake up several times in the process of this dream to reality then when I got comfy, my mind would take me exactly to that same dream, to the same skin walker that I was talking to. The skin walker wanted to harm but couldn't put a hand on me for some unknown reason. The skin walker transformed between my 1 and 3 year old daughters, my ex, random people I've never met and wanted me to play a game of chance with it
Dreams featuring skinwalkers—a concept often rooted in folklore and mythology, particularly in Native American traditions—can symbolize transformation, deception, and the fears associated with change or loss of control. Here’s a breakdown of some potential meanings behind various elements of your dream:
Skinwalkers: In your dream, the skinwalkers embody people from your life, including loved ones and strangers. This could represent feelings of distrust or apprehension toward those around you, possibly due to past experiences or relationships. It may also reflect anxieties regarding the intentions of people in your life being hidden or deceptive.
Flight: Your ability to fly signifies a sense of freedom and control. In the context of your dream, it may indicate your desire to rise above the conflicts or discomforts represented by the skinwalkers. You might be looking for an escape from situations or emotions that feel threatening.
Conversations with the Skinwalker: Engaging in intelligent and casual conversations with the skinwalker suggests a deeper exploration of your thoughts and feelings. It represents an attempt to understand the complexity of your relationships with others, even those you feel wary of. This could also point to an internal dialogue about confronting fears rather than avoiding them.
The Need for Safety: The skinwalker wanting to harm you but being unable to could symbolize a protective instinct within you, perhaps indicating that you have established boundaries around yourself. This protective aspect allows you to confront and engage with fears without being harmed.
Recurring Nature of the Dream: Waking up and returning to the same dream scenario suggests that this is a significant theme in your subconscious. It may indicate unresolved feelings or thoughts that you are grappling with, and your mind is trying to process them fully.
Game of Chance: The proposition to play a game of chance may symbolize feelings of vulnerability or uncertainty in your current life situation. It could imply that you feel you’re navigating a situation with unpredictable outcomes and that there’s something at stake.
Overall, this dream seems to reflect deep-seated concerns regarding trust, the complexity of interpersonal relationships, and the desire for autonomy and safety. It encourages looking inward to understand and reconcile these feelings, guiding you toward a sense of empowerment and clarity.
